Candy Apple Girl
Hello everyone, and welcome to another challenge at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog! Today begins our Challenge #53, and as always our theme is 'anything goes'.
For my inspiration today, I've used one of Vera's new designs, Candy Apple Girl. There's nothing like a good caramel apple to put me into the harvest spirit! This design could easily be used for a winter card, but I decided to use one of my favorite color palettes - aqua, peach, and yellow. I think these colors keep the design fresh and fall-like. I hope I've inspired you to come join us this week!
The color combo I've used is:
skin - E04, 11, 21, 01, 000, 93
hair - E57, 55, 53, YR20
eyes - B18, 06
orange - YR27, 16, 12, 00
yellow - YR31, Y32
blue - BG45, 23, 11, 18, 57, 13
apple - R29, 27, 35, E33, 35, 99
I used some dye inks on the packages - Stampin' Up Peekaboo Peach, Lost Lagoon, So Saffron, and Pool Party. I finished up my design with some English Mustard Nuvo Drops.
